Adapter VGA DeLOCK 65250

The DeLOCK 65250 VGA Gender Changer is an adapter that connects to a VGA (D-Sub) port to join two VGA cables with 15‑pin connectors. It provides a mechanical extension of a VGA port and has nickel‑plated contacts to improve contact durability and resist wear during frequent connection and disconnection.

Advantages

The adapter uses nickel‑plated connectors for improved corrosion resistance and reliable signal contact. It combines a VGA male and a VGA female connector with screw fittings to ensure a secure mechanical connection and prevent accidental disconnection. Its compact form factor makes it easy to install where a short extension or gender change is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting two VGA cables with D‑Sub 15 connectors
• Extending or mechanically adapting an existing VGA port
• Temporary setups where a short adapter is needed to avoid strain on the device port

Key specifications

• Connector 1: VGA (D‑Sub) 15‑pin male
• Connector 2: VGA (D‑Sub) 15‑pin female
• Female connector with screw nuts; male connector with screws
• Nickel‑plated contacts
• Colours: Black, Silver, Yellow

How to use

Align the male VGA connector of the adapter with the VGA cable or device port and insert it gently. Secure the connection by tightening the screws on the male connector. Attach the second VGA cable to the female side and fasten the screw nuts to ensure a stable connection. Use the adapter as a short extension or as a gender changer between two VGA cables.

Recommendations

To maintain contact durability, avoid excessive bending or mechanical stress near the connector. Tighten screws firmly but avoid over‑torquing. For best signal reliability, use shielded VGA cables and keep cable lengths within recommended VGA limits.
