Alcatel Call By Name – 1 uporabnik

For businesses running Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise or Office platforms, this digital desk phone puts a unique twist on call handling: the Call By Name feature. Instead of dialing an extension, users simply select a colleague's name from the directory and the system routes the call automatically—saving time and reducing misdials in busy office environments. It's a practical tool for reception areas, help desks, or any single-user workspace where speed and accuracy matter.

Highlights

• Call By Name dialing for fast, accurate call placement
• 1-line monochrome LCD with 20-character display for clear caller information
• 6 programmable keys with LED indicators for one-touch access to key functions
• Hands-free speakerphone and RJ9 headset port for flexible communication
• Line-powered from the PBX—no separate power adapter required
• Dedicated keys for mute, redial, hands-free, message, and volume
• Wall-mountable or desk stand options to suit any workspace

In daily use

The Alcatel Call By Name phone is built for efficiency. The monochrome LCD shows the current call status and menu options, while the 2-way navigator makes it easy to scroll through the directory or adjust settings. The six programmable keys can be assigned to frequently called numbers or features like call transfer and conference, reducing the need to remember codes. The hands-free speakerphone allows users to multitask during calls, and the RJ9 headset port is ideal for those who spend long hours on the phone. Because the phone is line-powered, installation is straightforward—just connect it to the digital UA interface on your PBX.
