How to use

Install the unit on a suitable wall surface following local electrical codes and the manufacturer's mounting instructions. Connect the audio wiring to the building's intercom bus or designated interface, and attach up to two compatible modules as required for your setup. After mounting and wiring are completed, test call and audio transmission functions to verify clear communication between the outdoor unit and the indoor handsfree or handset station.

Recommendations

For optimal long-term performance, mount the unit in a sheltered area to minimise direct exposure to heavy rain despite its IP44 rating. Use compatible GIRA modules and wiring types recommended for intercom systems, and have electrical connections performed or verified by a qualified installer to ensure system reliability and compliance with safety standards.
