How to use

Connect the Equip USB Audio Cable adapter to a free USB port on your computer. The operating system should recognize the device automatically as a separate sound card. Select the adapter as the input/output device in your communication or audio application settings to route headset audio and microphone through the USB adapter while keeping the onboard sound card for other audio tasks.

Recommendations

For best results use a direct USB port on the computer rather than a hub, and select the USB adapter explicitly in your VoIP or conferencing software to avoid conflict with the onboard audio device.
