Why choose it

The Half Dome Helmet balances robust protection with everyday comfort. Its hybrid shell deflects sharp impacts while the EPS liner manages energy absorption, and the dial adjustment system lets you fine-tune the fit even while wearing gloves. The slate colourway hides scuffs and pairs well with any climbing kit, and the headlamp clips eliminate the need for aftermarket straps.

Ideal use cases

• Traditional and sport climbing where rockfall or gear drops are possible
• Alpine mountaineering and glacier travel with variable conditions
• Via ferrata routes with exposed traverses and fixed cables
• Indoor climbing gyms that require helmet use for lead climbing or belaying

Good to know

Weighing approximately 330 grams, the Half Dome Helmet sits low on the head for a streamlined profile that won't snag on chimneys or overhangs. The removable padding can be rinsed after sweaty sessions, and the helmet is compatible with most standard headlamps thanks to the four integrated clips. Always inspect your helmet after a significant impact and replace it if the shell or foam shows cracks or deformation.
