Bosch 2 608 628 408 rezkar

Bosch 2 608 628 408 router bit with an overall length of 55 mm and a working diameter of 14 mm is a cutting accessory designed for woodworking tasks that require precise edging and trimming. The tool combines a short 15 mm working length with a standard 8 mm shank to fit compatible router chucks and handheld routers, providing controlled cuts and repeatable results.

Advantages

The 14 mm diameter and 15 mm working length deliver accurate, clean cuts for edge profiling and trimming. An 8 mm shank ensures compatibility with many routers and collets. The compact total length of 55 mm improves control during handheld routing and reduces vibration for smoother finishes. The bit is made to Bosch dimensional standards for consistent fit and performance.

How to use

Install the 8 mm shank securely in the router collet and tighten according to the router manufacturer's instructions. Set the router speed appropriate for the material and make test passes on scrap stock to confirm cut depth and angle. Move the router steadily along the workpiece, keeping firm control and consistent feed rate to achieve a smooth edge profile. Make multiple shallow passes rather than a single deep cut when working with hard or brittle materials.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (eye and hearing protection). Ensure the router is switched off and unplugged when changing bits. Follow Bosch's guidelines for feed rate and cutting direction; avoid excessive side loads and check the bit for damage before each use.
