How to use

Install the card reader into a 3.5" front bay using the included mounting frame or mount it at the rear in a PCI slot as required. Insert a CompactFlash Type I/II or IBM MicroDrive card into the front slot until it seats; use the push-button ejector to remove the card. The device supports hot-plugging, but follow your operating system's safe removal procedures when unmounting media.

Recommendations

Use a SATA connection directly to the motherboard for stable performance and ensure the system BIOS is configured if you intend to boot from CompactFlash. Handle cards by the edges, avoid force when inserting or ejecting, and observe the LED status before removing media.
