Braun BC09-DCF digitalna budilka črna

The Braun BC09-DCF Black is a compact digital alarm clock with a minimalist square design and an easy-to-read LCD display. It follows Braun’s ‘less but better’ design ethos, offering essential timekeeping and alarm functions in a simple, consistent layout. The clock accepts AA batteries and measures approximately 75.5 mm width, 75.5 mm depth and 45 mm height. The radio-controlled DCF (GMT+1) movement sets time automatically for the Central European Time Zone, and can be switched off for manual setting when the signal is unavailable.

Advantages

The BC09-DCF combines a clear LCD display with selectable 12-hour and 24-hour formats, a crescendo beep alarm and a snooze function. A backlight improves night-time legibility. Its pared-back Bauhaus-inspired styling and compact dimensions make it unobtrusive on a bedside table while providing reliable daily alarm performance. The radio-controlled function ensures accurate timekeeping where DCF signals are available, and manual setting is possible when they are not.

Use the control buttons to choose 12-hour or 24-hour display format and to set the alarm if the radio function is switched off. The snooze button temporarily silences the alarm; pressing it again will repeat the alarm after the snooze interval. Use the backlight button to illuminate the LCD for night-time reading.

Recommendations

For accurate automatic time updates, place the clock near a window or in a location with minimal radio interference within the Central European Time Zone. Switch to manual setting when using the clock outside the DCF signal area.
