DeLOCK 67213 kabelski adapter USB tip-A USB tip-B moder

The DeLOCK 67213 Cable Gender Changer converts a USB Type-A connection to a USB Type-B connector in a compact, durable blue housing. Designed for straightforward compatibility between host devices and peripherals, this adapter enables reliable wired connections when a cable with the required gender is not available. Its simple inline design makes it easy to add to existing USB cabling setups without modifying devices or cables.

Advantages

This gender changer provides a stable physical connection between USB Type-A and USB Type-B ports while maintaining the expected form factor of each connector. The blue housing offers visual identification in cable bundles. Its compact construction minimizes added cable bulk and keeps signal paths short to reduce interference and connection issues. The adapter is plug-and-play and requires no software or power source.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers or hubs with USB Type-A ports to printers or scanners that use USB Type-B
• Adapting existing USB cables when a Type-A to Type-B cable is not available
• Use in offices, home workstations, and repair benches where quick temporary connections are needed

Key specifications

• Connector A: USB Type-A (female/male depending on cable orientation)
• Connector B: USB Type-B
• Colour: Blue
• Form factor: Inline gender changer adapter

How to use

Insert the USB Type-A end of the adapter into the corresponding USB Type-A plug or port, then connect the USB Type-B end to the peripheral or cable with a matching Type-B connector. Ensure connections are fully seated to maintain a secure electrical contact. No drivers or configuration changes are required; the adapter functions as a passive mechanical conversion within the existing USB cabling.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for short to moderate cable runs and in situations where a temporary or semi-permanent connection is acceptable. Avoid subjecting the adapter to heavy mechanical strain, repeated flexing, or exposure to liquids. For critical high-speed data transfers or long-distance runs, consider using a dedicated, properly shielded cable of the correct connector gender to preserve signal integrity.
