DeLOCK 90673 RJ-45 Cat5e 3 m črn

The DeLOCK 90673 RJ-45 Cat5e networking cable is a 3 m black patch cable designed for Ethernet connections conforming to the Cat5e specification. It features RJ-45 connectors on both ends and U/FTP (STP) shielding around individual pairs and overall braid to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The cable is suitable for structured cabling, connecting routers, switches, network interface cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices where a reliable 1000BASE-T or 100BASE-TX link is required.

Advantages

The U/FTP (STP) shielding improves signal integrity in environments with potential interference from nearby electrical equipment or cable bundles. With a 3 m length and standard RJ-45 terminations, the cable provides straightforward plug-and-play installation without additional adapters. The black jacket offers a discreet appearance and protects the conductor pairs while maintaining flexibility for routing through cable channels and office spaces.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port on your devices until you hear a click. Ensure both ends are connected to the correct ports (for example, switch to PC or router to modem). Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it with cable ties or clips where necessary to prevent strain on the connectors. After connection, verify link lights on network devices or run a network diagnostic to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or large electrical equipment. Maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter and avoid excessive tension when installing. Use shielded connectors and grounded equipment in installations that require full benefit from the U/FTP shielding.
