How to use

Place the Inter-Tech K-618 heatsink on the processor following the motherboard and cooler mounting instructions. Ensure the CPU contact surface and the heatsink base are clean, apply a suitable thermal compound in a thin, even layer, and secure the heatsink according to the socket-specific mounting mechanism. Verify clearance in the case and ensure that any required airflow paths are unobstructed.

Recommendations

Use a compatible thermal paste and tighten mounting hardware evenly to avoid uneven pressure. Confirm that the chosen motherboard socket is supported (LGA 1156 or LGA 1200) before installation. Regularly inspect and clean the heatsink to maintain thermal performance.
