Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patch kabel, 1,0 m, zelen

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patch cable, 1.0 m in length and green in colour, is designed for high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure reliable contact and low loss, making it suitable for demanding network environments and 10GBase-T applications.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference while the Cat.6A specification delivers increased bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin for stable 10 Gbit/s links. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs support durable contacts and consistent connectivity. The 1.0 m length and green jacket enable easy identification and tidy cable management.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T connections in data centres and server rooms
• High-performance desktop and workstation networking
• Patch panels and switch-to-switch links in local networks
• Environments requiring shielded cabling to minimise EMI

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6A (Platinum)
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with braided overall shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s)
• Standard: 10GBase-T
• Length: 1 m
• Colour: Green
• Weight: 0.053 kg

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices, such as switches, patch panels or network cards, until the latch clicks. Ensure the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends and is away from strong sources of interference. For optimal performance, use the cable within its specified length and in systems supporting 10GBase-T where required.

Recommendations

Inspect plugs and ports for debris before connection, avoid excessive bending or pulling on the cable, and route shielded cables together with proper grounding practices to maintain the shielding effectiveness.
