Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patch kabel, 10 m, črn

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP Patch Cable (10 m, black) is a high-performance network patch cord designed for 10GBase-T environments. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to ensure reliable contact and optimal conductivity. The cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is suitable for demanding network installations where higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin are required.

Advantages

The Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables, enabling stable 10G performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer durable contact resistance and consistent signal transmission. The 10 m length provides flexibility for connections in server rooms, racks and workstation setups while maintaining industrial-standard performance.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network backbones and high-speed LAN segments
• Server rooms, data centres and network racks
• Workstation and office connections requiring 10 Gbit/s performance
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Maximum data rate: 10000 Mbit/s
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Colour: Black
• Weight: 0.384 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network device (switch, router or network interface) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of mechanical stress; keep the cable away from strong electrical noise sources where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal 10G performance, use the patch cable within a structured cabling system rated for Cat6A or higher and avoid exceeding recommended bend radii. Inspect connectors for contamination before installation and replace the cable if any visible damage appears.
