Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patch kabel, 15 m, siv

The Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patch cable is a 15 m gray network cable engineered for high-speed data transmission up to 10 000 Mbit/s. Constructed with quality materials and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating, this Cat.6A cable uses S/FTP shielding to minimize electromagnetic interference and maintain a strong signal-to-noise margin in demanding network environments, including 10GBase-T applications.

Advantages

Shielded S/FTP design reduces crosstalk and external interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The Cat.6A specification provides increased bandwidth and better signal integrity for stable, error-reduced 10 Gbit/s performance over the 15 m length. The gray outer jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for professional installations.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T networks and other high-speed LAN environments
• Server rooms, data centers and backbone cabling
• Office network installations and structured cabling

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T (Cat.6A)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Product colour: Grey
• Weight: 0.564 kg
• Maximum data rate: up to 10 000 Mbit/s

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to maintain secure contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, tight loops and proximity to strong electromagnetic sources to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal 10GBase-T performance, keep cable runs within recommended lengths for your network design, avoid stretching or kinking the cable, and test links after installation with appropriate network testers to verify continuity, shielding and throughput.
