Ideal use cases

• Adding dial-up connectivity to modern PCs without internal modems
• Sending and receiving faxes from a computer
• Connecting to legacy systems or remote equipment that require dial-up
• Backup internet connection when broadband is unavailable

Good to know

The modem is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, and it is plug-and-play, so no driver installation is required on most systems. Caller ID support lets you see incoming call information when used with compatible software.
