HDMI emulator Lindy 10.2G EDID emulator

The Lindy HDMI 10.2G EDID Emulator Adapter maintains continuous EDID signals for systems that require uninterrupted display identification. It prevents EDID-related interruptions when used with AV/KVM extenders, switches and splitters, and can act as a virtual monitor to keep a PC or server graphics card active for remote IP access. The compact black unit features two HDMI-A connectors and supports resolutions up to 2160p with passthrough of HDCP content (note: does not support HDMI 2.0 or HDCP 2.2).

Advantages

This emulator provides stable EDID emulation to avoid display handshakes and signal drops, is compact for easy integration into professional AV setups, and offers preset EDID data for common resolution/timing combinations. It supports high-definition video up to 10.2 Gbps and can be combined with the Lindy HDMI / VGA / DVI EDID Recorder (32120) to clone EDID from a specific display.

Suitable for

• AV and KVM extender installations
• Switches and splitter setups where EDID continuity is required
• Keeping a PC or server graphics card active for remote access
• Professional AV systems requiring stable HDMI connections

How to use

The device also includes preset EDID profiles for common resolutions, allowing use without cloning. Ensure cables and connected devices are powered and configured for the desired resolution.

Recommendations

Use this emulator in environments where EDID interruptions cause signal loss or where a system requires a persistent display handshake. For HDMI 2.0 or HDCP 2.2 content, select an emulator model that explicitly lists those standards.
