Intel Virtual RAID on CPU Premium – RAID 0/1/5/10

Intel Virtual RAID on CPU Premium - RAID 0/1/5/10

Intel Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel VROC) is a hybrid RAID solution designed specifically for NVMe SSDs connected directly to the CPU. Intel VROC is enabled by the Intel Volume Management Device (Intel VMD) CPU feature, a hardware architecture on Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Intel VMD extends the existing 48 PCIe lanes for reliable NVMe connections. Intel VROC uses Intel VMD to deliver a simpler RAID solution that requires no additional hardware, providing compelling RAID performance that unlocks the full potential of NVMe drives. Supports RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10.
