Kabel ACT CAT 6A S/FTP PVC patch, 305 m, siv

The ACT CAT 6A S/FTP PVC patch cable is a 305 m installation cable designed for high-speed network environments. Constructed to Cat6a standards with S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable data transmission over longer runs. The grey PVC jacket provides mechanical protection and a neutral appearance suitable for office, server room, and industrial installations.

Advantages

This cable combines augmented Category 6 performance with S/FTP (shielded foil around each pair plus overall braid) construction to deliver improved noise rejection and stable high-frequency response. The 305 m reel length is convenient for full-length runs in structured cabling projects and minimizes the need for joins. The PVC outer jacket offers flexibility for routing in standard installation scenarios while maintaining durability.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and commercial buildings
• Server rooms and data centers requiring Cat6a performance
• High-speed Ethernet links up to 10 Gbps over appropriate distances
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP — foil around each pair plus overall braid
• Conductor: twisted pairs (standard copper construction)
• Length: 305 m
• Outer jacket: PVC, grey
• Intended use: installation/patching for Ethernet networks

How to use

Install the cable along planned cable routes, avoiding tight bends and prolonged exposure to mechanical stress. Terminate the cable with compatible RJ45 connectors or patch panels rated for Cat6a and shielded systems, ensuring correct grounding of the overall shield and drain wires where applicable. When routing near sources of strong electromagnetic noise, maintain appropriate separation or use conduit to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable with shielded connectors and properly bonded grounding at both ends. Observe the maximum recommended bend radius for the cable and follow local building and electrical codes during installation. Store unused cable on the reel and protect it from prolonged UV exposure and excessive moisture.
