Kabel DeLOCK 82799 SATA, 0,2 m, rumen

The DeLOCK SATA cable 82799 is a 0.2 m internal SATA III cable in yellow that supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s. It is designed for connecting internal SATA 6 Gb/s devices such as HDDs, SSDs, controller cards or flash storage. The cable uses male SATA connectors on both ends and includes metal clips on the connector to provide additional snap-in retention. The SATA III interface is downward compatible with earlier SATA versions, with achievable transfer speeds limited to the older standard when used with legacy devices.

Advantages

The 0.2 m cable length reduces clutter inside the PC case and simplifies routing. Support for up to 6 Gb/s ensures SATA III performance when paired with compatible devices. Metal retention clips improve connector stability and the bright yellow colour makes the cable easy to identify among other internal cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting 2.5" or 3.5" HDDs
• Connecting SATA SSDs
• Connecting SATA controller cards
• Connecting internal flash memory or optical drives with SATA interface

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA III
• Cable length: 0.2 m
• Data transfer rate: up to 6 Gb/s
• Connector: male SATA on both ends with metal retention clips
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the cable inside the PC case from the motherboard or controller card SATA port to the SATA device. Align the SATA connector and press it onto the device port until the metal clip engages, ensuring a secure connection. When connecting to a hard drive, note that the cable is designed so it will be routed upwards from the drive connector. If connecting to older SATA devices, data transfer speed will operate at the maximum supported by the older device.

Recommendations

Use the cable for internal connections only. Avoid sharp bends and strong mechanical stress on the cable and connectors. Ensure devices and ports are powered off before connecting or disconnecting to prevent damage. For optimal airflow and cable management, choose the shortest practical routing inside the chassis.
