Gold-plated connectors support stable contact and reduced corrosion over time, contributing to consistent signal transfer. The cable’s construction and black finish are intended to offer reliable mechanical strength and a neutral appearance in home, office, or event environments. The product is aimed at providing a straightforward single-cable solution for connecting HDMI sources to DisplayPort-equipped displays without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Presentations using an HDMI device and a DisplayPort-equipped projector or monitor
• Gaming setups that require linking an HDMI console or PC output to a DisplayPort screen

Key specifications

• Connector types: HDMI (source) to DisplayPort (display)
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Color: black
• Intended use: digital video and audio transmission between HDMI source and DisplayPort input

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or in a stable state before connecting. Insert the HDMI end into the HDMI output of your source device and the DisplayPort end into the DisplayPort input on the monitor or projector. Power on the display and source device, then select the appropriate input on the display if necessary. Use the display’s input selection and the source device’s video output settings to configure resolution and audio routing as required.

Recommendations

For best results, confirm that the display supports input from an HDMI-to-DisplayPort connection and adjust resolution settings on your source device to match the monitor’s native resolution. Avoid sharp bends or excessive tension on the cable to maintain connector integrity and signal quality.
