Kabel Equip DVI-D Dual Link, 1,8 m

The Equip DVI-D Dual Link Cable (1.8 m) is a digital video cable with male DVI-D connectors on both ends, designed to transmit uncompressed digital video signals between DVI-enabled devices. It supports longer cable runs with minimal signal loss and is suitable for monitors, digital projectors, DVD players and HDTV displays. The cable is RoHS-compliant, weighs 180 g and has compact dimensions for easy routing and storage.

Advantages

This DVI-D Dual Link cable provides a stable digital connection over 1.8 meters, reducing the risk of interference and preserving image quality. The male-to-male DVI-D connectors ensure compatibility with devices that accept DVI-D inputs and outputs. The cable’s slim profile and moderate weight make it easy to handle and install while meeting environmental standards (RoHS).

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI-enabled computer or graphics card to a monitor
• Connecting digital projectors or HDTVs with DVI-D inputs
• Linking DVD players or media players to displays that support DVI-D

How to use

Connect one male DVI-D connector to the DVI-D output of your source device (for example a computer graphics card or DVD player) and the other male DVI-D connector to the DVI-D input of the target display (monitor, projector or HDTV). Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid potential damage. After connection, power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal image quality, use the cable for resolutions and refresh rates supported by both source and display. Avoid tight bends or sharp kinks in the cable and secure connections at both ends. If extending beyond 1.8 m, consider using active repeaters or certified longer-length DVI solutions to maintain signal integrity.
