Kabel USB-C DisplayPort ShiverPeaks BASIC S, 3m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC S 3m USB C to DisplayPort cable provides a direct connection between USB-C source devices and DisplayPort-equipped displays. Designed for video transmission, it supports high-resolution output and uses gold-plated connectors to maintain stable signal quality. The cable’s 3-meter length and subtle grey finish suit both desktop and living-room setups where extended reach and a discreet appearance are required.

Advantages

The cable features gold-plated connectors that reduce corrosion and improve contact reliability for consistent video and audio transmission. At 3 meters long, it offers extended reach without the need for adapters or converters, simplifying connections between laptops, tablets, or smartphones with USB-C ports and monitors or projectors with DisplayPort inputs. Its neutral grey jacket integrates with modern workstations and home entertainment systems while providing flexible routing options.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB-C laptops or tablets to DisplayPort monitors for high-resolution displays
• Extending the distance between a source device and a DisplayPort-enabled display in offices or meeting rooms
• Home entertainment setups where a USB-C media player or computer needs a DisplayPort connection
• Presentations with projectors that accept DisplayPort input from USB-C devices

Key specifications

• Cable type: USB-C to DisplayPort
• Length: 3 meters
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: grey
• Primary function: video and audio signal transmission from USB-C source to DisplayPort display

How to use

Connect the USB-C end to a compatible source device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode, and plug the DisplayPort end into the monitor, TV or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the connected DisplayPort port. If the source device supports multiple display configurations, choose the desired mode (mirror or extend) in the operating system display settings. For optimal results, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable path.

Recommendations

Use this cable with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort over USB-C (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). Keep connector contacts clean and avoid coiling tightly around heat sources. For long-term reliability, disconnect by gripping the connector housing rather than pulling the cable itself.
