Kabel USB DeLOCK 11m, USB2.0-A – USB2.0-B

The DeLOCK USB Cable 11m (USB2.0-A to USB2.0-B) allows connection of active USB devices with a USB type B interface, such as printers or external HDD enclosures, to a free USB type A port. It supports USB 2.0 with a maximum data transfer rate of 0.48 Gbit/s. The cable is double-shielded and features a higher gauge power line to provide a stable and safe connection over the extended 11 m length. The connectors are male on both ends and the cable comes in black.

Advantages

The double-shielded construction reduces electromagnetic interference, while the thicker power conductor helps maintain power stability for connected devices over long distances. The 11 m length extends the reach between devices and a host computer without intermediate hubs. Standard USB A to USB B male connectors ensure compatibility with printers, scanners and many external storage enclosures supporting USB 2.0.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to a computer located at a distance
• Extending the connection for scanners and all-in-one devices
• Linking external HDD enclosures with USB type B to a host PC

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB B (male)
• USB version: USB 2.0, up to 0.48 Gbit/s
• Cable length: 11 m
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug the USB A male connector into an available USB type A port on your computer or hub, and insert the USB B male connector into the device with a USB type B socket (for example a printer or external HDD enclosure). Ensure both ends are fully seated. For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For reliable operation over the 11 m length, connect directly to a computer USB port or a powered hub. Avoid using multiple passive extension cables in series. If a device requires higher data rates or power, consider a USB 3.x cable or a solution with an external power supply.
