Kabel USB DeLOCK, 50 cm, USB 2.0, 83499

The DeLOCK USB Cable 50cm USB 2.0 (83499) is a flexible extension cable with USB A connectors on both ends designed to extend a USB 2.0 connection by approximately 50 cm. The cable supports USB 2.0 data rates (up to 0.48 Gbit/s) and has a black finish. Its special built-in wire allows the cable to be bent and keep its shape, so the connector can be fixed in place by wrapping the cable around an object.

Advantages

The built-in shape-retaining core lets you bend and position the cable to hold connectors steady. With USB A to USB A connectors and USB 2.0 compatibility, the cable supports standard peripherals and devices. Its 0.5 m length is suitable for compact setups and reducing cable clutter while providing a short, reliable extension.

Suitable for

• Extending a USB 2.0 connection by about 50 cm
• Connecting USB A devices in tight or compact workspaces
• Fixing or routing a USB connector by shaping the cable around an object

How to use

Insert the male USB A plug into the host device or upstream USB port, and connect the female USB A end to the downstream device or cable. Bend the cable into the required shape so that the built-in core maintains position; this allows you to fix the connector in place by wrapping the cable around a support or object. Ensure both devices are powered and recognized by the operating system before data transfer.

Recommendations

Do not overload the cable by using it for power-hungry devices that require higher current than USB 2.0 standard provides. Avoid excessive bending at the connector ends to prevent mechanical stress. For high-speed data transfer beyond 480 Mbit/s, use a USB 3.x certified cable.
