Kabel USB Newland CBLMP100U, črn, USB-A

The Newland CBLMP100U black USB A cable is a compatible connection accessory designed specifically for barcode readers and similar peripheral devices. It provides a straightforward wired link between a barcode scanner and a host device such as a PC, POS terminal or other USB-enabled equipment. Manufactured with attention to durability and signal integrity, the cable supports reliable data transmission required in retail, logistics and inventory management environments.

Advantages

This USB A cable combines a standard USB A connector with a durable jacket and secure connector fit to reduce accidental disconnection. The cable construction minimizes interference and maintains consistent communication between barcode reader and host device. Its black finish offers a neutral appearance that integrates easily into retail and workplace setups while resisting visible dirt and wear.

Suitable for

• Connecting handheld barcode readers to desktop computers and POS systems
• Use in retail checkout counters and back-office inventory stations
• Integration with point-of-sale terminals and scanning stations
• Replacement or spare cable for barcode scanners in warehouses and distribution centers

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A (standard host connector)
• Color: Black
• Primary use: Data transmission between barcode reader and host device
• Cable construction: Shielded for reduced interference (manufacturer-stated durability)
• Compatibility: Designed for use with Newland barcode readers and other devices supporting USB A interface

How to use

Plug the USB A connector into a USB host port on a computer, POS terminal or other compatible equipment. Connect the other end to the barcode reader following the scanner manufacturer’s instructions for secure attachment. After physical connection, allow the host system to recognise the device; if required, install or enable any necessary drivers or configuration within the operating system or point-of-sale software. Verify data transmission by performing a test scan and confirming that scanned codes appear correctly on the host device.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable, route it away from heavy machinery or high-interference power cabling, and check connector seating periodically. Replace the cable if the insulation or connector shows visible damage to maintain data integrity and device safety.
