Kabelska obloga DeLOCK 20740

The DeLOCK 20740 cable sleeve is a braided polyester sleeve designed to bundle and protect exposed cables, wires or tubing. It measures 6 mm in diameter and 2 m in length, and its bright yellow colour improves visibility for quick identification. The sleeve helps organize cables in home or office environments and reduces clutter while protecting conductors from dirt and wear.

Advantages

The braided polyester construction offers excellent abrasion and heat resistance while remaining highly stretchable to accommodate cables of varying diameters. The sleeve is reusable, allowing cables or tubes to be added or removed multiple times, and it can be cut to a custom length using a hot cutting tool to prevent fraying.

Suitable for

• Bundling power cords, data cables and audio/video leads
• Protecting exposed wiring in offices and home entertainment setups
• Organizing cables behind desks, monitors and network equipment
• Covering small-diameter tubes and hoses

How to use

Slide the braided sleeve over the cable bundle or thread individual cables through the sleeve before connecting devices. If necessary, cut the sleeve to the required length with a hot cutting tool to seal the ends and prevent fraying. Adjust the position and orientation of the sleeve to cover exposed areas and secure with cable ties or tape if extra fixation is needed.

Recommendations

Use the sleeve for cables within small diameters close to the specified 6 mm size; for larger bundles, verify stretchability before installation. Avoid exposing the sleeve to open flame or temperatures beyond its specified heat resistance. When cutting, use a suitable hot cutting tool to create a clean, sealed edge.
