Kabelski adapter DeLOCK 65040

The DeLOCK 65040 gender changer adapts two D-Sub 50pin (HD/DB 50) connectors, providing a compact mechanical extension and connection between compatible devices. It features gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and a silver finish. The adapter is designed to protect the device port from wear when frequent mating is required and to offer a reliable physical interface for legacy D-Sub 50 connections.

Advantages

The adapter uses gold-plated contacts to ensure good electrical contact and corrosion resistance. Its D-Sub 50pin construction allows straightforward mechanical extension or gender change of HD/DB 50 ports without altering cabling. The small silver-bodied unit is easy to install and helps reduce wear on the equipment’s original connector.

Suitable for

• Connecting two devices with D-Sub 50pin (HD/DB 50) ports
• Extending or mechanically adapting an existing D-Sub 50 connector
• Temporary or permanent connections in industrial or legacy equipment

Key specifications

• Connector 1: D-Sub 50pin (HD/DB 50)
• Connector 2: D-Sub 50pin (HD/DB 50)
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Product colour: Silver
• Brand: DELOCK, MPN: 65040, EAN: 4043619650408

How to use

Align the gender changer’s D-Sub 50pin connectors with the corresponding HD/DB 50 ports on each device and press gently until the connectors are fully seated. If present, secure any fastening screws to ensure a stable mechanical connection. Use the adapter as a direct link between two D-Sub 50 interfaces or as a short mechanical extension to reduce wear on the device’s original port.

Recommendations

Use the gender changer in clean environments and avoid excessive bending or pulling on connected cables. For frequent disconnects, keep the adapter attached instead of repeatedly mating the device’s original port to prolong the life of the equipment connector.
