Kabelski pokrov DeLOCK 66627

The DeLOCK 66627 metal housing protects D-Sub 25 connectors from dirt and mechanical damage. Made of durable metal with a silver finish, the housing adds robustness to cable connections and helps extend the service life of the connector by shielding it from wear, dust and impacts. The compact dimensions (44 mm width, 8 mm height) make it suitable for use where space is limited.

Advantages

The metal construction provides durable protection against mechanical stress and external contaminants. Integrated cable clamps and strain reliefs secure the cable and reduce tension on the connector. The silver colour offers a neutral appearance that fits professional and personal setups. Compact size allows mounting in confined areas without obstructing neighbouring ports.

Suitable for

• Protection of D-Sub 25 connectors on cables
• Applications that require strain relief for connector cables
• Audio/video installations, industrial and office equipment

How to use

Place the D-Sub 25 connector inside the metal housing and align the cable so the clamps and strain relief elements can be positioned around the jacket. Fasten the housing according to the product design (screws or clips) to secure the connector and cable. Ensure the strain relief grips the cable jacket to prevent movement and reduce stress on the connector pins.

Recommendations

For reliable protection, check compatibility with your D-Sub 25 connector dimensions before installation and tighten clamps evenly. Avoid excessive bending directly at the connector and inspect the housing periodically for signs of corrosion or loosening.
