Keystone modul Hypertec 272230-HY ploščat siv RJ-45

The Hypertec 272230-HY keystone module in flat grey is a single-port RJ-45 insert designed for modular network faceplates and patch panels. Its low-profile, flat construction reduces protrusion behind wall plates and in tight installation spaces while providing a standard Ethernet interface for copper twisted-pair cabling. Sold individually, this keystone module allows flexible expansion or replacement within structured cabling installations and is compatible with common keystone housings and mounts.

Advantages

The flat design minimizes space requirements and enables neat, low-profile installations in shallow back boxes and slim faceplates. The grey finish offers a neutral visual appearance that integrates with many interior styles. With a standard RJ-45 interface, the module supports straightforward termination and rapid plug-and-play connectivity using conventional patch cords, and its single-port format reduces inventory surplus by allowing selective purchasing.

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible opening on a faceplate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Terminate the incoming twisted-pair cable to the RJ-45 contacts following the required wiring scheme (T568A or T568B), using an appropriate punch-down tool or termination method for the module type. After termination, connect a standard Ethernet patch cable to the RJ-45 jack for network connectivity. Ensure the module is fully seated in the housing and that strain relief and cable management are applied as required for a secure installation.

Recommendations

Use this keystone module with compatible keystone housings and faceplates to maintain a secure fit and reliable contact. When terminating cables, verify the wiring scheme and test each connection with a network cable tester to confirm continuity and correct pair orientation. In environments with limited space, the flat profile helps avoid interference with shallow back boxes; still allow sufficient bend radius for twisted-pair cables to preserve signal integrity.
