Komplet Cat5e Logitech 952-000019

The Cat5e Kit enables connecting a Logitech Tap to a meeting room computer at distances up to 40 meters using Cat5e (or better) category cabling. The kit includes a 10 meter cable and supports transmitting both data and power over a single cable, removing the need for a separate power outlet at the table and allowing tidy installations without coiled cables.

Advantages

The Cat5e Kit provides data and power over one cable, simplifies cable management by allowing custom cable lengths, and supports cable runs up to 40 meters. It is compatible with Logitech Tap Table Mount, Riser Mount, and Wall Mount, enabling clean and flexible placement of the Tap control panel in meeting spaces.

Key specifications

• Maximum cable run: 40 m (using Cat5e or higher)
• Included cable length: 10 m
• Supports data and power over single Cat5e cable
• Compatibility: Logitech Tap, Tap Table Mount, Riser Mount, Wall Mount

How to use

Connect one end of the Cat5e cable to the Logitech Tap and the other end to the meeting room computer or the corresponding network/power interface provided by the kit. If a longer run is required, replace the included 10 m cable with Cat5e or higher cabling cut and crimped to the needed length, keeping the total run at or below 40 m. Route the cable through the chosen mount (table, riser, or wall) to achieve a neat installation.

Recommendations

Use Cat5e or higher-rated cabling for best performance, verify total cable length does not exceed 40 m, and follow Logitech Tap mount instructions for secure and tidy mounting. For permanent installations, crimp cables to exact lengths to avoid excess cable coils.
