In daily use

The NTS-1 shines as a portable sound design tool. Connect a USB power bank, plug in headphones, and you have a complete synth workstation anywhere. The ribbon keyboard responds to slides and pressure, making it surprisingly playable for expressive leads and basses. Use the arpeggiator to generate instant patterns, then shape them with the filter and effects. The stereo input lets you process external audio through the NTS-1's effects, turning it into a compact multi-effects unit for other gear. Sync it with volcas or a monotron for a pocket-sized jam setup.
