Kramp Gardena 3180-20

The Gardena 3180-20 Pull Hoe is a compact weeding and soil cultivation tool designed for efficient garden maintenance. It features a rectangular stainless steel blade with an 8 cm working width and a pull-style action that allows controlled removal of weeds and light soil loosening. The tool's robust construction and corrosion-resistant blade make it suitable for repeated use in beds, borders and between plants.

Advantages

The stainless steel rectangular blade provides an even cutting edge and resists rust, maintaining performance over time. The 8 cm width balances precision and coverage, enabling work in narrow rows as well as along borders. The pull hoe design reduces strain by allowing the user to work with a comfortable motion and better control. Durable build quality ensures consistent operation for routine garden maintenance.

Suitable for

• Weeding between vegetable rows and flower beds
• Light soil cultivation and surface aeration
• Cleaning around perennials and border plants
• Preparing small planting areas and maintained beds

Key specifications

• Blade material: stainless steel
• Blade shape: rectangular
• Working width: 8 cm
• Action type: pull hoe
• Intended use: weeding and soil cultivation

How to use

Hold the tool with a comfortable grip and position the blade at soil level. Use a steady backward pulling motion to cut roots and loosen the top layer of soil, taking care to keep the blade close to the base of unwanted plants for effective removal. For precision tasks, work at a slower pace and make several shallow passes rather than forcing the blade deeply. After use, remove soil and plant debris from the blade and store the tool in a dry place to protect the stainless steel surface.

Recommendations

Use the pull hoe on moist but not waterlogged soil for best results; avoid heavy clay when possible or follow up with a tined tool to break compacted clods. Periodically inspect and clean the blade after each use, and sharpen if the edge becomes dull to maintain cutting efficiency.
