Microconnect AUDSPEAKER9-100 avdio kabel 100 m prozoren

The Microconnect AUDSPEAKER9-100 is a 100 m speaker/audio cable with male connectors on both ends. Constructed with Copper-Clad Aluminium (CCA) conductors, this transparent cable has a conductor structure of 2x30/0.25 mm and a cable cross-section of 2 x 1.5 mm². The outer dimensions are approximately 3.1 x 6.5 mm. It is intended for audio and speaker signal transmission in professional and domestic setups.

Advantages

The CCA conductor offers a balance of conductivity and reduced weight compared with solid copper, while the transparent jacket allows visual inspection of the cable. At 100 m length and 7.4 kg weight, the cable is suitable for longer runs and easy handling during installation. The 2 x 1.5 mm² cross-section provides adequate current capacity for typical loudspeaker applications.

Suitable for

• Connecting passive loudspeakers to amplifiers in venues or home audio systems
• Long cable runs where a 100 m length is required
• Temporary or permanent installations where cable visibility is useful

How to use

Run the cable between amplifier and speaker, avoiding sharp bends and points of high mechanical stress. Strip the jacket and insulation as required to expose the conductors, then attach appropriate connectors or screw terminals to the male ends. Ensure correct polarity when connecting positive and negative conductors to maintain phase. For long runs, secure the cable along the route to prevent movement and strain.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable lengths as short as practical for the application, avoid running audio cable in parallel with power cables to reduce interference, and use appropriately rated connectors and terminals for the 2 x 1.5 mm² conductors.
