Microconnect MONCJ adapter DVI-D HD15 siv

The MicroConnect MONCJ is a passive gender changer adapter that routes only the analog signal from a DVI-D connector to a VGA (HD15) connector. Its compact grey housing makes it suitable for simple connections where a DVI-D source needs to be connected to a VGA input without active conversion. The adapter is lightweight and intended for basic signal passthrough between compatible devices.

Advantages

This adapter provides a straightforward and compact solution for connecting a DVI-D output to an HD15 (VGA) input when the analog pins are present. Its passive design requires no power or drivers, and the grey MicroConnect finish integrates unobtrusively into office or home setups. The small size and low weight make it easy to carry and store.

Suitable for

• Connecting devices with a DVI-D connector to displays or equipment with an HD15 (VGA) input when analog signals are available
• Temporary or portable setups where a compact adapter is needed
• Simple signal passthrough between compatible graphics cards and monitors

How to use

Plug the DVI-D end of the adapter into the source device and connect the HD15 end to the display or receiving device. Ensure both devices are powered off when making the connection for safety. Power on the devices and select the correct input on the display. No drivers or power supply are required for basic analog passthrough functionality.

Recommendations

Check that the DVI-D source provides analog signals compatible with VGA. If the source outputs a purely digital DVI-D signal without analog pins, this passive adapter will not convert the signal — an active converter is required in that case.
