Microconnect MPK302 omrežni razdelilnik bež

The Microconnect MPK302 Beige network splitter is a compact passive adapter designed to join two Ethernet cables through female-to-female RJ45 connections. Lightweight and pocketable at approximately 10 g, it offers a space-saving solution when a direct link between two patch cords is needed without using additional active equipment. The neutral beige finish blends with common office and home cabling setups.

Advantages

This network splitter provides a straightforward connection method with minimal signal path loss since it is a passive female-to-female coupler. Its small dimensions and low weight make it convenient to carry, store, and install in tight spaces. The unit is built for reliable mechanical contact and repeated use, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

Key specifications

• Connector type: female RJ45 to female RJ45
• Color: beige
• Weight: ~10 g
• Form factor: compact inline coupler
• Suitable cable category: compatible with standard Ethernet patch cords (check cable category compatibility for desired speeds)
• Material: durable plastic housing with internal metal contacts

How to use

To use the splitter, align and insert the RJ45 plug of the first Ethernet cable into one female port, then insert the RJ45 plug of the second cable into the opposite female port. Ensure both plugs click into place for secure contact. The device does not require power or configuration; it functions immediately as a passive coupler. Verify link status on connected network devices to confirm physical connectivity.

Recommendations

Use this passive coupler for simple physical connections and short runs; avoid relying on it to extend long-distance links or to correct cabling faults. For high-performance or managed network segments, match cable categories and consider using active switching equipment where required.

MicroConnect MPK302 Beige network splitter provides a minimal, reliable mechanical solution for joining Ethernet patch cables in environments where a simple, passive connection is sufficient.
