Microconnect USBAB2 kabel USB 2.0 1,8 m USB A USB B bel

The MicroConnect USBAB2 is a 1.8 m USB 2.0 cable with USB A (male) and USB B (male) connectors designed for connecting external USB devices with USB B sockets—such as printers and scanners—to a USB host (computer, notebook, USB hub or wall charger). It supports data transmission up to 0.48 Gbit/s and features nickel-plated contacts for reliable connectivity in a white, robust cable construction.

Advantages

This USB A to USB B cable provides stable data transfer at USB 2.0 speeds (up to 480 Mbps) and is compatible with standard USB host interfaces. Its 1.8 m length offers flexibility in device placement, while nickel-plated contacts improve contact durability and corrosion resistance. The cable’s simple white design fits professional and home environments without additional features that could affect compatibility.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to computers or printers to USB hubs
• Connecting flatbed or document scanners to a USB host
• Connecting other USB-B equipped peripherals (e.g., some audio interfaces, multifunction devices)
• Replacement cable for existing USB-B devices

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB B (male)
• USB version: USB 2.0 (up to 0.48 Gbit/s / 480 Mbps)
• Cable length: 1.8 m

How to use

Plug the USB A connector into the host device (computer, notebook, USB hub or wall USB port) and the USB B connector into the peripheral device’s USB B socket (printer, scanner or other compatible device). Ensure both devices are powered on. The connection uses the host’s drivers and the device should be recognised automatically; install any required device-specific drivers if prompted by the operating system.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable near high-power electrical equipment or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Use the cable at its recommended length (1.8 m) to maintain stable USB 2.0 data rates and replace the cable if connectors show signs of wear or corrosion.
