Microconnect USBAB3 kabel USB 2.0 3 m USB A USB B bel

The Microconnect USBAB3 is a 3 m USB 2.0 A-to-B cable designed to connect external USB devices with USB Type B sockets — for example printers or scanners — to a USB host such as a computer, notebook, USB hub or wall charger. The cable supports data transmission up to 0.48 Gbit/s and features nickel-plated contacts for improved durability and reliable signal contact. Its white colour provides a neutral appearance suitable for office or home environments.

Advantages

This USB 2.0 cable offers a 3 m length that provides extended reach between devices and hosts without additional adapters. Nickel-plated contacts reduce corrosion and help maintain consistent connection quality. The A-to-B connector pair is compatible with a wide range of printers, scanners and other peripheral devices that use USB Type B sockets. The cable complies with USB 2.0 signalling, ensuring backward and forward compatibility when used with USB Type-A or Type-C hosts through appropriate host interfaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting printers to computers or USB hubs
• Connecting scanners and multifunction devices
• Linking legacy USB Type B peripherals to modern hosts with USB Type-A ports

Key specifications

• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB B (male)
• USB version: USB 2.0 (up to 0.48 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 3 m
• Colour: White
• Contacts: Nickel-plated
• Weight: 0.08 kg

How to use

Plug the USB A male connector into the host device’s USB Type-A port — for example a computer, notebook, USB hub or wall-mounted USB charger — and insert the USB B male connector into the peripheral device’s USB Type B socket such as a printer or scanner. Ensure both devices are powered according to their instructions before transferring data. The cable supports standard USB 2.0 data transfer and will negotiate the appropriate speed when connected.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, avoid sharp bends near the connector ends, keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and disconnect by holding the connector rather than pulling the cable. Use the cable within its USB 2.0 specifications to ensure stable data transfer rates up to 0.48 Gbit/s.
