Mikrofon za varnostno kamero Axis 01561-001

AXIS T8355 Digital Microphone (model 01561-001) is a high-performance security camera microphone designed for clear audio capture in large surveillance areas. The hemispherical microphone captures sound from every direction and provides substantially better recording quality than typical internal camera microphones. It supports digital S/PDIF output for lossless audio transfer between the microphone and a network product and is powered by the network device, eliminating the need for an external power supply.

Advantages

The digital S/PDIF output enables lossless audio transmission and improved electromagnetic immunity, allowing reliable operation with cable runs up to 100 m (328 ft). The microphone offers a wide frequency response (20–20,000 Hz), a sensitivity of −30 dB and a high signal-to-noise ratio (76 dB), ensuring clear and accurate sound capture. The product comes in a durable white plastic housing and connects via a wired interface compatible with camera audio inputs.

Suitable for

• Large indoor or semi-outdoor surveillance areas requiring omnidirectional audio capture
• Installations with long cable runs (up to 100 m) where electromagnetic immunity is needed
• Security camera systems that need higher-quality audio than internal camera microphones

Key specifications

• Model: AXIS T8355 / 01561-001
• Connector: S/PDIF digital output, 3.5 mm wired interface compatibility
• Frequency range: 20–20,000 Hz
• Sensitivity: −30 dB
• Signal-to-noise ratio: 76 dB
• Cable length: 5 m
• Power: Powered by network product (DC 13 V typical)
• Housing: White plastic

How to use

Mount the AXIS T8355 microphone within the surveillance area so the hemispherical capsule has an unobstructed view of the sound field. Connect the microphone to the network product using the appropriate S/PDIF or 3.5 mm audio input and ensure the network product provides the required power (DC 13 V). For long cable runs, route the cable to avoid strong electromagnetic interference sources where possible. Configure the audio input in the network product’s settings to enable digital audio capture.

Recommendations

For best results, place the microphone centrally in the monitored area and avoid mounting near large machinery or strong RF sources. Use recommended cable types and secure connections; test audio quality after installation and adjust input levels in the network device to minimize background noise while preserving speech clarity.
