Neupravljano stikalo PLANET ISW-504PT

The PLANET Unmanaged Switch ISW-504PT is a DIN-rail/wall-mountable Fast Ethernet PoE+ switch designed for industrial and hardened environments. It offers 4 10/100BASE-TX PoE+ ports plus one additional 10/100 uplink port, a total PoE power budget of up to 120 W, dual-redundant 12–48 V DC inputs with polarity reversal protection, and an IP40 metal housing rated for operation from -40 to 75 °C. The switch is unmanaged, supports IEEE 802.3af/at and IEEE 802.3u/802.3x standards, and provides a compact, fanless design for quiet, reliable operation in harsh sites.

Advantages

The ISW-504PT combines full PoE+ power delivery and industrial-grade hardware in a cost-effective, plug-and-play package. Its wide input voltage range with built-in 12–48 V DC to 54 V boost and dual-redundant power inputs simplifies deployment in transportation and industrial applications without requiring specialized power supplies. The rugged IP40 metal case, fanless ventilated design and extended operating temperature range increase reliability in electrically noisy or temperature-extreme locations. Built-in ESD and surge protection further improve network stability and protect connected devices.

Suitable for

• Powering and connecting IP cameras in outdoor cabinets or roadside enclosures
• Supplying PoE to wireless access points in industrial or transportation sites
• Small PoE networks in factories, warehouses or machine rooms
• VoIP phone deployment where local power outlets are impractical

How to use

Mount the ISW-504PT on a DIN rail or wall surface in a suitable enclosure or cabinet. Connect a 12–48 V DC power source to the dual power inputs (observe wiring guidance in the installation manual; polarity is reversible) and verify the power LED. Plug network devices such as IP cameras, wireless APs or VoIP phones into the PoE ports using standard Cat5e/Cat6 cables; use the uplink port for connection to the core network or NVR. Select the required DIP switch mode (Standard, VLAN or Extend) to match your deployment needs and ensure devices receive power within the PoE budget limits.

Recommendations

Use Category 5e or better shielded/unshielded Ethernet cabling and plan PoE power distribution so the cumulative power draw of attached devices does not exceed the 120 W total budget. For installations in exposed or high-interference sites, place the switch in an earthed metal cabinet and ensure power sources are within the specified 12–48 V DC range. When using the Extend mode to increase link distance, confirm connected devices support the reduced speed or specific mode requirements.
