Odstranjevalec izolacije Knipex ErgoStrip 16 95 02 SB

The Knipex ErgoStrip 16 95 02 SB cable stripper is a compact hand tool engineered for precise removal of insulation from round cables with diameters from 8 mm up to 13 mm. With a work-focused shape and comfortable grip, this model provides controlled stripping action in a lightweight 165 mm body. The tool is suitable for network, telecommunication and electrical installation tasks where accurate, repeatable stripping without conductor damage is required.

Advantages

The ergonomically shaped handles reduce hand fatigue during repetitive use, and the compact dimensions allow access in confined spaces. Its construction ensures a consistent stripping length and clean cuts at typical cable diameters, while the low weight supports extended manual operation. The colour-coded handles aid quick identification in a toolbox or on a workbench.

Suitable for

• Stripping round network and communication cables
• Telephone and data cable preparation
• Electrical installation work in confined spaces
• On-site maintenance and repair tasks

Key specifications

• Stripping capacity: round cables Ø 8 mm to 13 mm
• Overall length: 165 mm
• Dimensions (approx.): 165 mm × 135 mm × 60 mm
• Weight: 0.093 kg
• Handle colour: blue and red

How to use

Place the cable into the stripping jaws appropriate to the cable diameter, clamp gently and rotate or actuate the tool according to the built-in stripping mechanism to cut through the insulation without nicking the conductor. Withdraw the removed insulation sheath and inspect the conductor for damage. Adjust the insertion depth and grip pressure as needed for different cable constructions to obtain a clean strip.

Recommendations

Use the tool only within the specified diameter range (8–13 mm) and check each stripped conductor visually before making electrical connections. Keep the tool clean and free of debris; if necessary, lightly lubricate pivot points for smooth action. Store in a dry place and replace the tool if cutting edges become dull or if any damage compromising safety is observed.
