Omrežni patch kabel CABLETIME Cat7 S/STP 2 m, črn

CABLETIME Cat7 S/STP 2 m, black is a 2‑meter network patch cable engineered for high‑speed Ethernet connections. The S/STP (Screened/Shielded Twisted Pair) construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk. This cable supports gigabit and multi‑gigabit network environments and is suitable for connecting routers, switches, patch panels and other network devices in home and office installations where stable data transmission is required.

Advantages

The CABLETIME Cat7 S/STP cable provides enhanced shielding compared with unshielded alternatives, improving signal integrity in areas with potential EMI from nearby electrical equipment. Its Cat7 specification supports higher frequency ranges and data throughput suitable for demanding network applications. The 2 m length offers flexibility for rack, desktop and wall‑mounted setups without excess slack. A black jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance for both visible and concealed installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and modems for gigabit or higher Ethernet
• Patch panels and structured cabling in small office and home office (SOHO) environments
• Short runs between networked devices in server rooms, closets, or workstations
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby electronics

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector end into your network device (router, switch, patch panel or network card) and the other end into the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a reliable physical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For rack or patch panel use, maintain appropriate bend radius and secure the cable with cable ties or management accessories as needed.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor use within structured cabling and device interconnects. For installations near heavy machinery or unshielded power lines, verify the shielding and grounding practices of the site to maximize EMI protection. For longer runs or permanent in‑wall installations, consult local cabling standards and consider appropriate in‑wall rated cables.
