Omrežno stikalo ROLINE 21.14.3524

The ROLINE 21.14.3524 is a compact Gigabit Ethernet network switch with five RJ-45 ports and built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE) support. Designed for small networks and edge deployments, this switch provides full-duplex Gigabit connectivity and a MAC address table capable of storing 2000 entries. Compliance with IEEE 802.3at for PoE and IEEE 802.3x for flow control ensures reliable power delivery to compatible devices and stable data transmission. The unit operates from a 54 V DC input and comes in a black enclosure suitable for desktop or shelf placement.

Advantages

The switch combines Gigabit performance with PoE capability on multiple ports, simplifying installations by supplying power and data over a single cable. Full-duplex switching and a hardware MAC table reduce collisions and improve throughput in mixed traffic environments. Compliance with established IEEE standards provides interoperability with a wide range of IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones. Its compact footprint and straightforward connectivity make it practical for small offices, retail points of sale, and network extensions.

Suitable for

• Supplying power and network connectivity to PoE-enabled IP cameras
• Connecting wireless access points in small to medium Wi‑Fi deployments
• Powering and connecting VoIP phones in office environments
• Extending wired Gigabit networks for small office or home office setups

Key specifications

• Port type: 5 × RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• PoE standard: IEEE 802.3at (PoE+ compatible)
• Flow control: IEEE 802.3x support for full-duplex flow control
• MAC address table size: 2000 entries
• Operating input voltage: 54 V DC
• Device colour: Black

How to use

Place the switch on a stable surface and connect the 54 V DC power supply to the device input. Use standard Cat5e or Cat6 cables to connect network devices to the RJ-45 ports. PoE-capable ports will deliver power automatically to compatible devices that conform to the IEEE 802.3at standard; non-PoE devices will receive data only. No additional configuration is required for basic switching operation—plug-and-play connectivity provides immediate network access and power delivery.

Recommendations

For reliable PoE operation, calculate the total power draw of connected devices to ensure the switch can supply sufficient power. Use quality shielded or unshielded twisted-pair cables (Cat5e/Cat6) and maintain proper ventilation around the unit. For installations with multiple high-power PoE devices, monitor port loading and distribute devices across switches or use a dedicated PoE power source if required.
