Optični kabel EFB Elektronik O7353.3 3 m SC ST turkizen

The EFB Elektronik O7353.3 is a 3 m fibre optic patch cord with SC and ST connectors and an OM3 multimode 50 µm core. Designed to serve as a short link between passive interfaces and active device ports in structured cabling, this turquoise-coloured cable supports high-speed data transmission in data centers and telecommunications installations while remaining easy to identify in cable runs.

Advantages

The cable features aramid yarn reinforcement for improved tensile resistance and long-term mechanical stability. Its LSZH (halogen-free, flame-retardant) sheath complies with IEC-60754-2, IEC-60332-1 and IEC-61034. Connectors meet optical connector quality grades B/2 for singlemode and A/1 for multimode per IEC-61753-1 and IEC-61753-222-2 (draft). Each patch cord is 100% tested and supplied with an individual test protocol.

Suitable for

• Short-distance multimode fibre links in data centres
• Connections between active devices and passive panels or equipment
• Telecommunications rooms and equipment racks

How to use

Use the fibre optic patch cord to link active equipment ports (switches, transceivers) to passive interfaces such as patch panels or media converters. Ensure connector types (SC and ST) match the mating ports on both ends before insertion. Handle connectors by the ferrule and avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius. Route the cable in trays or management panels to prevent strain and secure it to avoid movement that could affect optical performance.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in clean conditions; keep connector endfaces protected with dust caps until connection. Follow manufacturer guidelines for minimum bend radius and connector cleaning to maintain signal integrity and test each link after installation using the supplied test protocol.
