Ovoj za kabel DeLOCK 18847 črn

The DeLOCK 18847 Cable Sleeve is a stretchable braided sleeving designed to bundle and protect exposed cables, electrical tubes and wires from dirt and mechanical damage. Made from durable polyester with a 3 mm diameter and finished in black, this single pack provides a neat solution for organising cables at home or in the workplace.

Advantages

The braided sleeving is highly stretchable to accommodate cables of different diameters, and it offers abrasion and heat resistance to protect wiring. It can be reused: cables and tubes can be added or removed multiple times. The sleeving is also cuttable to length; use a hot cutting tool for a clean, sealed edge.

Suitable for

• Bundling and protecting power and data cables
• Organising cables behind desks, entertainment centres and server racks
• Protecting exposed wiring in workshops or light industrial settings
• Neatening cable runs in home office or AV installations

How to use

Measure the length of cable you need to protect and cut the braided sleeving slightly longer than required. If a sealed edge is desired, cut the sleeving with a hot cutting tool to prevent fraying. Stretch the sleeving open and slide it over the cable bundle; its elastic braid will contract to hold the cables in place. To add or remove cables, widen the braid and insert or extract conductors as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, select a sleeving diameter that allows comfortable insertion of the largest cable in the bundle. Use a hot cutting tool or soldering iron to trim the sleeving to length and seal the edge. Avoid using the sleeving on cables carrying high temperatures beyond the material's heat resistance rating.
