Patch kabel Draka Comteq TM31 0,5 m

The Draka Comteq TM31 0.5m patch cable is a Cat6a network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for short-distance connections between devices. With a half-metre length and a blue jacket, the cable supports high-speed data transmission and is suitable for structured cabling in offices, server racks and home networks where reliable Gigabit or 10 Gigabit links are required at short reach.

Advantages

The Cat6a specification provides improved shielding and pair performance compared with lower category cables, reducing crosstalk and supporting higher frequencies for stable data throughput. The short 0.5m length minimises excess cable clutter in patch panels and desktop setups while preserving signal integrity. Molded RJ-45 plugs ensure easy insertion and a secure fit, and the blue jacket helps visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers to switches or routers over short distances
• Patch panel to switch connections in data cabinets
• Desktop and workstation cabling to reduce cable slack
• Home network links where high-speed, short runs are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 plug on both ends
• Color: Blue
• Suitable network speeds: Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short runs
• Construction: Twisted pair cable designed for reduced crosstalk

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on devices such as a computer, switch or router until the plug clicks into place. For patch panel or rack-mounted installations, route the cable along cable management guides to avoid sharp bends and strain on connectors. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or near sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use the 0.5m length for tidy connections close to patch panels, switches and desktops. Inspect connectors before installation and avoid excessive bending or pulling. For longer runs, select a suitably rated cable length to maintain signal performance.
