Patch kabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 1m moder

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 1 m network cable with RJ-45 connectors designed for Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T). The cable uses S/FTP shielding and gold-plated contacts to reduce interference and improve contact reliability. Its blue jacket and standard 1 m length make it suitable for connecting network devices in structured cabling environments and small rack or desktop setups.

Advantages

The Cat.6 construction provides higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower category cables. S/FTP shielding offers enhanced protection against external electromagnetic interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure stable data transfer at speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. The 1 m length keeps cable runs tidy in confined installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within local networks
• Patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling
• Desktop and rack-mount network equipment where a 1 m cable is sufficient

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding LAN ports of your devices (switch, router, PC or patch panel) until the connector latch clicks. Ensure both ends are seated fully and avoid sharp bends near the connector to maintain signal integrity. For best results, route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and do not exceed the recommended run lengths in structured cabling installations.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6 S/FTP patch cord for short network connections up to 1 m where reduced interference and Gigabit performance are required; replace if connectors show visible wear or if data errors occur.
