Patch kabel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 2,0m črn

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 2.0 m black network cable designed for high-speed data transfer up to 1000 Mbit/s. Constructed from quality materials and tested to meet industry standards, the Cat.6 S/FTP cable uses foil and braid shielding to reduce external interference and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure stable contact and reliable transmission in professional and home network environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, resulting in a better signal-to-noise margin and lower error rates. Cat.6 performance supports higher bandwidth for demanding applications, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance corrosion resistance and connection stability. The 2.0 m length offers flexibility for rack, office or desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) connections
• Office and data center patching between switches, patch panels and workstations
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP and file transfer

How to use

Insert one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or computer and the other connector into the corresponding port on the remote device or patch panel. Ensure connectors click into place and check link/activity LEDs on devices to confirm a successful connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends, kinks or running the cable alongside high-power electrical cables for extended distances.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-run patching and interconnects within racks, desks and office environments. For longer permanent installations or outdoor use, select an appropriate in-wall or outdoor-rated cable. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if performance issues appear.
