Patch kabel QOLTEC 54529 2xRJ45 CAT5e 5m črn

The QOLTEC 54529 Patchcord cable with two RJ45 connectors is a CAT5e-rated network cable with a length of 5 meters in black. It is designed for Ethernet connections between switches, routers, computers and other network devices supporting Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet over short distances. The cable construction supports reliable high-speed data transmission and is suitable for typical home and office network installations.

Advantages

The cable conforms to CAT5e performance requirements to reduce crosstalk and ensure consistent signal integrity at common Ethernet speeds. Its factory-terminated RJ45 connectors provide straightforward plug-and-play installation without additional assembly. The 5 m length offers flexibility for desk-to-wall or rack-to-workstation connections while keeping excess cable manageable. The black outer jacket provides a neutral appearance that integrates with most setups and offers basic protection against abrasion and handling.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and network printers to switches or routers
• Patch panel to switch connections in small server or rack installations
• Home networking for streaming, file transfer and online gaming
• Temporary network setups for meetings, events or workstations

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT5e compliant
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45, 2 connectors
• Length: 5 meters
• Color: Black
• Supported network speeds: Fast Ethernet and suitable for Gigabit Ethernet over typical short runs
• Intended use: Patchcord for horizontal or equipment connections

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on the devices you wish to connect until the latch clicks. Ensure devices are powered and network interfaces are configured as required by your local network settings. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks or exposure to heat sources; secure excess length with cable ties or Velcro straps to maintain a tidy installation. For rack or patch panel use, keep cable runs within recommended bend radius to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable in environments where runs do not exceed the typical limitations for CAT5e and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors occasionally for debris or damage and replace the cable if shielding or jacket integrity is compromised.
