Priključek za vrtno cev Gardena 18209-20

The Gardena 18209-20 water hose fitting is a chrome-plated connector designed for attaching garden hoses to outdoor taps. Manufactured by GARDENA, the fitting provides a stable interface between tap outlets and standard hose couplings. Its metal construction offers improved resistance to wear and weather compared with plastic alternatives, and the chrome finish reduces corrosion risk while maintaining a consistent seal under normal domestic watering conditions.

Advantages

The chrome construction provides enhanced durability and corrosion resistance for regular outdoor use. The fitting is engineered to create a secure, leak-minimizing connection with common garden hoses and taps. Its compact form factor and straightforward shape make installation and replacement fast and uncomplicated, without the need for specialised tools. The metal surface simplifies cleaning and withstands typical mechanical stresses associated with garden watering.

Suitable for

• Connecting standard garden hoses to outdoor or indoor taps for watering tasks
• Replacement of worn or damaged tap connectors on irrigation systems
• Use with watering accessories that require a threaded or push-fit tap connection
• Domestic gardening, patio and balcony watering

Key specifications

• Material: chrome-plated metal for increased wear and corrosion resistance
• Compatibility: designed to fit common household tap outlets and standard garden hoses
• Finish: polished chrome surface for easier maintenance
• Design: compact, single-connector form factor for straightforward attachment
• Use environment: outdoor and sheltered outdoor locations under normal domestic conditions

How to use

Ensure the tap outlet and hose end are clean and free of debris before attaching the fitting. Screw or press the fitting onto the tap according to the tap’s connection type until it seats securely, then attach the garden hose coupling to the other end and confirm a snug fit. Turn on the water supply gradually and inspect the connection for any signs of leakage; if necessary, tighten the connection or reposition the hose to achieve a firm seal. For disconnection, turn off the water and relieve pressure before removing the fitting.

Recommendations

To prolong service life, avoid exposing the fitting to freezing conditions with water inside; drain connected hoses and store fittings indoors during winter. Periodically check the chrome surface and seals for damage, and replace the fitting if deformation or persistent leaks occur. Use with hoses and taps of compatible dimensions to ensure correct performance.
