Rezilo za kabelske škarje Knipex 71 79 910

The Knipex 71 79 910 cable cutter head is an interchangeable cutting accessory engineered for use with compatible Knipex tools, notably model 71 72 910. Weighing 1.9 kg and finished in black with stainless steel cutting components, this cable cutter head provides a robust, precisely machined blade geometry that delivers clean cuts across a variety of cable types. It is intended to extend the capability of existing Knipex tooling when a dedicated cable cutting solution is required.

Advantages

The cutter head balances durable materials and precise machining to produce smooth, burr-free cuts while maintaining edge retention. Its design allows quick mounting to the matching tool body and provides repeatable cutting performance for both single-core and multi-core cables. The stainless steel cutting surfaces resist corrosion and simplify maintenance, and the overall construction supports professional use with improved operational stability.

Suitable for

• Cutting electrical power cables and multi-core communication cables
• Field or workshop use where fast, repeatable cable cuts are required
• Replacement or upgrade of existing compatible Knipex cutting heads
• Professional electricians, installers, and network technicians

Key specifications

• Product type: Cable cutter head
• Weight: 1.9 kg
• Finish: Black housing with stainless steel cutting surfaces
• Compatibility: Designed for use with compatible Knipex tool series (refer to tool model compatibility)
• Cutting capability: Suitable for a range of single-core and multi-core cables (capacity depends on cable diameter and insulation)

How to use

Fit the cutter head onto the compatible Knipex tool following the tool manufacturer’s mounting instructions and ensure secure fastening before use. Position the cable between the cutting blades at the marked cutting zone, and operate the tool according to its normal procedure to perform a single, controlled cutting action. After cutting, inspect the blade edges for wear and remove debris from the cutting surfaces. Replace the cutter head if the blades show signs of significant wear or deformation to maintain cutting quality.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment appropriate for cable work, such as safety glasses and gloves. Verify that cables are de-energized before cutting. For optimal performance, clean and lubricate pivot and mounting points periodically and store the cutter head in a dry environment to prevent contamination and corrosion.
